EDH Basketball Club is a 501 c3 organization from the Greater Longview East Texas Area. We accept registration in January for athletes in the surrounding East Texas area to join Team EDH, who are committed to a highly competitive level of basketball. These athletes will compete in a14u or 15u Basketball travel league, depending on their age as of January 1st. In addition to our dedicated training program which focuses on teamwork, commitment, self-discipline, and accountability, these athletes will play in an environment that promotes individual confidence, sportsmanship, self-esteem and leadership skills - valuable assets both on and off the court. Team EDH Basketball strives to motivate each player to achieve their individual level of success while creating excitement and exposure in the competitive basketball community.
A Message to our Sponsors: In order to give the skill development training, experience, and exposure our athletes need to compete at state levels, Team EDH depends on support from community leaders, families, and friends. Our goal is to raise $3,500 per athlete to give these youth an opportunity to go up against some of Southern United States top teams. This goal does not include sponsorship for the $900 registration that includes fees, uniforms, travel gear, and travel bags. Team EDH players participate in fundraising efforts from the community, family, and friends to help cover the cost, however, this has been a burden for our underserved players who would greatly benefit from your sponsorship. These players have traveled to tournaments throughout Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, and Oklahoma representing our community at national levels. They have gained exposure from some of the most prestigious organizations and excited to represent again for the next season, excited to have this opportunity... excited to have YOUR support!
